Hotel KPI for average length of stay.
Definition
ADL = total room nights / number of check-ins over period. Reported via HTNG Statistics Reporting and OPERA Daily Operations Report. Used by RMS to optimise overbooking, length-of-stay restrictions and minimum stays. Compare with ADR (Average Daily Rate).

Traditional hotel KPI ; standardised by STR (CoStar Group) and HTNG.
Example in context
A Las Vegas hotel has 3.2 nights ADL ; a Vail Resort has 5.8 nights ADL.
