SyncWorker — Worker reference

OAGIS BOD combining the verb Sync and the noun Worker. Business cornerstone of the hr domain in the OAGIS 10.x ecosystem.

BOD purpose

The SyncWorker BOD broadcasts worker data (employee ID, contract, organisation, manager, status) from the HRIS (Workday, SuccessFactors) toward consumer systems: ERP, payroll, ticketing, AD. Master-data building block on the HR side.

Structure (ApplicationArea + DataArea)

As every OAGIS BOD, SyncWorker stacks an ApplicationArea technical envelope (Sender, BODID, CreationDateTime) and a DataArea business payload containing the verb Sync and the noun Worker.

Minimal OAGIS 10.x payload for didactic purposes. The structural elements (header + business line) are required in any conformant implementation.

Use case

Workday broadcasts at 04:00 every morning via SyncWorker the previous day's changes (new hires, terminations, manager changes) toward SAP S/4HANA, ADP Payroll, and Active Directory.

EDI equivalents

No direct EDI counterpart on the gateway: this BOD is strictly internal to the OAGIS / ERP ecosystem, with no openly standardised EDIFACT or X12 counterpart.
